Hello,
I am 1/2 way through the Masters program(Education focus):heartbeat at Walden University. Wondering if anyone else out there is in the program or has completed the program.

i am currently enrolled. I am almost finished with my first year-2 more to go. I did not have a BSN so am in the RN-MSN track. I am specializing in nurs ed.
Exactly where are you in the program? Did you have your BSN already?

How do you like Walden?
Would you choose that school again if you had it to do over?
Absolutely! It is not difficult. I teach fulltime and co-pastor a church with my husband. Have older kids-only one left at home. TO me it is doable, not too awful much work. THe biggest thing for me was learning APA format for papers......It also depends on where you enter at. Do you have a BSN already? I didn't so I had 3 years to do. I am jsut about to finish the first year.
No, I am an ADN. Is Walden affordable?
Thanks for the info.
ADN to MSN is 20,000. INcludes all books tuition etc. That is the total cost.
Compared to other colleges it is adfordable. I got financial aide no problem. For a graduate program everyone qualifies for student loans.

I was thinking about starting at Walden in October. What is the work load like?

I am also a student in this program - what course are you doing now?
I am in NURS 6150 the last core class before the specialization courses begin. Only SEVEN more classes to go before completion!
How is the workload? I am just about to finish up my first year-2 more to go...I heard there were no more team projects after the first year. NOw typically I write two different 2-3 page papers, one 4-6 page paper and we do a team project with 3 components plus of course the discussions posting for each class. HOw is that compared to the actual Masters part of the program?
Where are you at? I am almost finished with my first year. I am in the ADN to MSN program-spec in nurs ed. I am currently in NURS 6025.
