Hi Everyone!
I am currently in the RN to BSN Program. I am looking to see who else is currently in the program or just finished so we can share some experiences as we go through it! I just finished Technical Writing and Transition to Professional Nursing. They were the easiest As I've ever received. I struggled with meeting deadlines though. You really do need to stay on top of assignments and not wait until the last minute like I did a few times. I found the courses easy as long as you completed everything. I also thought the content and assignments were great. I learned a lot. Grading was easy as long as you follow the rubric.
I start Legal Policy and Promoting Healthy lifestyles next on July 3rd. Has anyone taken these? Legal sounds intimidating but I'm hoping it's not too bad. I like that it uses the same book we have already purchased for Transition to Professional nursing.
Ya I completely get it. I haven't kept up at all. I've been doing all my assignments the day they're due. And some of them I've done the day after and taken the late penalty just because I've fallen behind. I don't think the assignments themselves are difficult, it's just staying on top of them. Good luck!!! Let's keep in touch so we can keep pushing eachother!
I am also currently in the program. I have taken Art Appreciation, the second English class, Technical Writing, History to 1865, Contemporary Mathematics, Federal Government, Medical Terminology, Legacy of the Family, Role Transition, Older Adult, and Promoting Healthy Lifestyles. I am currently taking Legal Aspects. I was trying to get through as quick as possible, but I just started a new job that will offer tuition reimbursement starting in January and has given me five years to complete my Bachelor's so I have slowed down. I can't wait to be done though!

I start a new job in a few weeks, too. I think I'm going to slow down. I had planned on finishing in the spring 2018 but this is just too much work.
I really want to get it over with! I'm in legal now too and it's not as bad as I expected it to be. The grading is easy. How was legacy and medical terminology? Good luck to you! My company is paying but then I have to stay on with them 2 years or repay all of it so I don't know what's going to happen, just going to keep pushing through for now.
I just finished the HIST 1312 class and totally agree. I also took World Lit and Family nursing at the same time as well. The history and lit classes were ridiculous. I have never been ripped a new one on my writing EVER. I was writing in Chicago, MLA and APA all summer. Talk about confusing. Hang in there, you are almost done!!!
I just registered for technical writing and holistic care of the older adult. I hope it isn't too much. I will also be at work full time. Maybe I will see some of you online!
You will be fine. Many of the courses are busy work. Overall, I have enjoyed the program.
I'd highly suggest not taking the History courses the same time as other courses if you must take them. I'd also suggest taking Assessment and the Public Health courses by themselves as well. I just finished the Nursing Management course. It it doable with another course. All I have left at this point is State and Local Government, Nursing Research, and Capstone. I cannot wait to be done at this point!
Also, I see you are from Florida - I live in the Tampa area!

How was Nursing Management? That's my next course. Really not looking forward to it.

I don't know about the management course, I'm planning to take it in the fall. Research is a LOT of work. I'm not such a great online-student so it has been especially difficult for me to stay on top of assignments, and there are a lot. I just have a hard time staying focused when there are so many other fun things I could be doing this summer with my kids.
