Hello,
If anyone has any questions about this program, please feel free to ask me. I'm finishing the 4th semester out of the 5, so I have an understanding of the program. Whether its a "big" or "small" question, ask away, and I'll do my best to answer.
This program is relatively new compared to other nursing programs, so there just simply isn't a lot of information online about it. When I was researching BSN schools, I was a little frustrated due to the lack of info. I just want to be a resource for anyone in a similar position. Please feel free to ask me any questions in the thread or through PM. It would probably be best to ask in the thread, so others can see. Thanks
I wonder if they haven't had that many due to people not applying or people not meeting their requirements. Hopefully it's because people aren't applying lol.
I wanted to see how I could figure my life schedule out around school so I looked at the schedule yesterday as well to see how it would work and I was thinking the same thing.
thanks for the information. now back to the waiting game.
Has anyone heard anything? I stopped in and talked to Kristin Friday for a bit and she pretty much said the same thing that the review committee needs to make their decisions this week before registration. I can't stand it. She said the only reason mine was in review is because of the two classes I am taking this summer to finish up my Pre Nursing AS at Vol State. I leave for vacation late Thursday/early Friday and hope to find something out before then so I can either celebrate or sulk! Not live in anticipation turmoil while I'm on da beach!
I didn't get the email I was so frantically searching for while on vacay, but my uncle was feeding my dog and checking our mail for me so he texted me one early morning telling me to call him immediately then asked me what I wanted when I called & he sent me the picture text of my acceptance letter while we were talking! Yahoo. My registration time is 4:40 too, but I switched it to a phone registration because it said to expect to be there an hour and a half for everything. I figure do majority of it on the phone and take the rest of my stuff up there when it isn't so chaotic will all the new students registering and coming in!!! Sorry I can't PM yet CU_Hopeful!!! I tried, but it wouldn't let me because I don't have enough posts. See y'all in the Fall!

Thank you for all of the info @CU_Hopeful. Your reply answered most of the questions that I've had about the program.
My wife is in her last semester in the Marian U Accelerated BSN program, so I feel like I'll have my personal study guide when going through. I can also attest to the ridiculous amount of reading that is required.
I'm still a semester away, but I'm getting pumped about this program.
It is also good to hear that they pretty much accept everyone that applies as long as you meet the minimum criteria.
Thanks again!
