@BSNtoMSN1987 I'm not in the program but I have applied for the Fall 2016. I have a lot of planning to do if I do get in and from what I have gathered for the first semester, classes will be Monday and Tuesday from 6-9:55 and Wednesday from 6-8:55. I did not get the clinical schedule though. I went to an information session back in September at the mount Juliet campus and they said they try to make them mostly on Saturday but some will be on Friday and a few on Sunday.

@journey2nursing1 and Britt2bRN Have you all received letter from admissions yet? I haven't and I don't know of anyone else applying to ask.

I haven't gotten anything yet. They said 4-6 weeks from the deadline so tomorrow will make exactly four weeks. Hoping to hear something soon.

@SouthernPsy

Can you give me a little more information about the BSN program? How many nights a week did you attend? Did you ever have clinical on Sunday? Will they allow you to do your clinical exercises on Saturday nights or do they have to be during the day on Saturday?

I work about 55 hours a week Mon-Sat. 8-6 Mon-Fri and until 4 on Saturdays. Is it possible to continue this schedule(obviously leaving a bit early for classes) or will I need to significantly decrease my hours?

Very interested in applying to this program, but there is a lack of information about it and the advisers are not very helpful.

Would love to chat with you if you have the time. . .

Thank you in advance.

I couldn't access my old account. I talked to Chelsea before she left and to Adrian the 3rd week of June and she told me they would be mailed in the next 3-4 weeks. I did fine on the Kaplan. Took it back in March and Passed everything and surprisingly got 100 on many of the sections. 78 overall. I am retaking Micro and Statistics this Summer so I am hoping that I get accepted contingent upon completing them. Someone told me if you get a small letter it's a denial, but a big packet is acceptance packet... Have you heard or received anything?

I haven't received anything recently. I'm taking one class this summer. Now I'm just on the countdown for the next two weeks waiting to hear something

Thanks, @CU_hopeful. I know that you are not in the program yet, but do you have any info on the class size? Will all semesters have the three day schedule? If so, it would make it a lot easier to complete the required homework/care plans/ etc. . . .

I have two semesters left of required prerequisites(one if I could go full time), and then I will be applying. I am about a year out so I would love to hear from you all once you enter the program.

Would also like to hear about drop out/failure rates if anyone has that info. Sounds like CU has a top notch program and high success rates with the traditional program. . .

Thanks again.

I'm unsure about how many nights the other semesters will be but I think it will be about the same, except for the semester that has geriatrics because that class is online. I was told the MJ campus is accepting 20 people for the fall cohort. I don't know if they ever go over that class size though.

Ill let you know if I find anything else out. I know it's rough trying to get information on this program.
