Yeah my grades aren't where I would love them to be, the program I studied was pretty tough. I work as a medical laboratory scientist at an affiliated CU hospital and some other health care experiences so I'm hoping that will help! I also worked forever on my essay and I'm happy with it. I heard this program ways that pretty heavily I'll do either program and both has pros and cons. I like the idea of being able to work prn at my job during the traditional program! But getting it all done sooner rather than later is also desirable
Hello Everyone!
I am am currently waiting to hear if I get an interview, also. After reading the feeds from 2016 and 2017, I am more nervous that I may not be the strongest candidate...but my fingers are crossed.
Good luck to all of you! We should hear from the program at the beginning of July!

Liz, this is also something I worry about. I do not have much healthcare experience at all. I cared foe a lady with Alzheimer's for a year (which I even forgot to mention anywhere in my application) and have a volunteer experience caring for children in overseas orphanages. I am just now in the process of getting my CNA certification. My previous degrees are in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences. So, when I look at past year's posting of applicants and everyone who posted here who had years of healthcare experience, degrees that are better related to nursing, my thoughts are: why am I even applying? It is stressful to wait for that email notification :) All I know I do really want to become a nurse and this is why I applied :) I wish everyone the best and hope we will all get invited for an interview. We will know soon!
