  1. Thank you so much for being available to answer our questions! Could you please tell me what textbook was used for your Pathophysiology class? A friend of mine has Understanding Pathophysiology by Sue Huether and Cathryn McCance that she can let me use. Thank you
  2. Hi, Welcome to the area! I took my prerequisites at Front Range Community College. Its a great school and i liked all of my instructors. The only class i took online was Statistics. It was fine, im just not a fan of online classes. I was invited for the interview but don't know if i got in yet. We are suppised to find out at the end of August.
  3. Got it, thanks :)
  4. Hi Kathleen Thank you for creating the FB group. I just tried searching for it and no results came up. Can you add me to the group? My full name is Kate Feeback Thanks.
  5. Hi Kathleen, I did read that previous groups messages before the interview. I would love to meet! I live in Loveland so dkknt know the area very well. Any suggestions? I looked through posting from 2017 and 2016 and found only a couple that talked about the interview. It gave me a general idea :) I actually posted on one of them to see if any of them were willing to share what their jnnterview was like. No one responded yet :) Looks like you've got a lot of great experiences in the field! Thank you for sharing. Looking forward to getting to know you better. Kate
  6. Hello everyone, My name is Kate and I just received an invitation for the interview for Spring 2018 UCAN program. I'm thrilled!!! Of course, I'm very nervous too :) Will you be willing to share what your interview day was like and what type of questions were asked? Thank you so much!!!
  7. I am sorry Liz Anyone knows what kind of questions they ask during interview? I looked through some past posts but did not see anything.
  8. congratulations!!!
  9. Just got an email: Selected for an interview!!!! My time is 7:30am-2pm. I am so excited!!!!
  10. Me too!!! :) I did it just a few minutes ago even though I know that it is after business hours now.... I am glad I am not the only one doing it :)
  11. Liz, this is also something I worry about. I do not have much healthcare experience at all. I cared foe a lady with Alzheimer's for a year (which I even forgot to mention anywhere in my application) and have a volunteer experience caring for children in overseas orphanages. I am just now in the process of getting my CNA certification. My previous degrees are in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences. So, when I look at past year's posting of applicants and everyone who posted here who had years of healthcare experience, degrees that are better related to nursing, my thoughts are: why am I even applying? It is stressful to wait for that email notification :) All I know I do really want to become a nurse and this is why I applied :) I wish everyone the best and hope we will all get invited for an interview. We will know soon! Kate
  12. Hi Nila, I was told we should know the status of our applications by July 1. Im very anxious to hear the news. Kate
  13. Hi all, I am happy I found this thread! I know its been less than a week since the deadline but I am very anxious to hear about my application :) Anyone knows when we might hear something?
