CU Denver Traditional program 2021

I'm in state, but I will most likely have to move if I get in the program! That is a big move form Washington. Do you have family or friends in Colorado? How did you pick the program?

I also read somewhere it is a group interview. Does anyone know if it was this format last year? I wonder what a group interview will be like over Zoom. I am trying to read online about what group Zoom interviews are like. In a group format, I wonder how long we will end up responding to questions.

I do have one family member down in Colorado which is nice. But the school I currently attend does not have its own nursing program, and so I pretty much had to look for programs just at all other schools because I didn’t have my own schools program to apply to. And I fell in love with Colorado a couple years ago when I went down for a trip, it feels a lot like Washington but is also a chance to branch out from my hometown. Not to mention colorado seems to have a lot better application processes than Washington state programs do. Our programs look at GPA, an entrance exam and some have an interview, and I just liked that CU took so much more into account.

Yeah I’m really not sure how a group zoom interview would look but I’m curious to know and how to prepare for that and how many different students would be in one interview group! Hopefully we’ll get more information soon! Are you living in Boulder right now? I feel like a lot of students are there

Hello!!

I live in Aurora, and I’ve also received an interview! I would love to know our odds, too! That’s how I found this thread... looking for how many of us get interviews and how many get accepted from that!

Zoom interviews will definitely make it difficult for us to show who we are, but at least we are all in the same boat!!

Yes! I agree with wanting to know about how many the are interviewing. Has anyone asked how many they are interviewing or has an adviser who knows?

Hi! I emailed them yesterday. Hopefully I'll get a response by Monday. I'll post on here when I hear back.

Excited to hear what they say. I know we are supposed to get a detailed interview schedule on Wednesday the 23rd. Maybe we will get details about how many are applying and formatting of the interview then?

I emailed them earlier this week and no reply ? maybe they are busy with scheduling interviews and the holidays? Hopefully they’ll email me back soon!
