CT-CCNP 2021-2022

Published

Hi!

I'm curious to see if there are any other CT-CCNP applicants on here! After reading forum posts from 2020, it seems like the results were posted on April 9th or 10th. I hope we find out sooner than later!

Good luck to you all!

Hi there! I’m just checking to see if anyone’s received a call off the waitlist for any of the schools

Someone I know who was number 1 got offered a place. And it seems like less than 5 ppl at CCC are yet to register

Someone I know was told by an NVCC nursing faculty that this year for all CCC programs is more competitive than ever before. They had a record-breaking number of applicants and the people who were accepted last year and turned down their seats because of the pandemic have been accepted again this year and are NOT turning down their seats. Thus, making the waitlist pretty steep this year.

Got called of the waitlist for Gateway this morning! For reference I was #27 out of 222.

I'm trying to get a head start studying before I start nursing school; and was wondering if anybody knows or has a list of any text books titles that are currently being used in CT?

We have a contract with Pearson publishing where all our textbooks are through the school bookstore and rolled into our tuition/fees. It comes with a web contract too so I don't think there's any way to get around that or get it for cheaper.

Thank you very much; I've been trying to reach out to a few schools but haven't had any luck obtaining an actual list of any book titles or authors

@BrandonRussellWilliams

The books are Pearson and come in a bundle. Technically you could buy them before however there’s so many and without the syllabus it’s too much. If I can suggest anything it would be a med calculation for nursing students.. a med review book for nurses and a basic fundamentals.
