CT-CCNP 2021-2022

Hi!

I'm curious to see if there are any other CT-CCNP applicants on here! After reading forum posts from 2020, it seems like the results were posted on April 9th or 10th. I hope we find out sooner than later!

I was wondering, is everyone suppose to be vaccinated while in the program ?

I was wondering the same thing. When I set up my health info account it says COVID 19 Vaccine?

I was wondering the same thing, my brother who is graduating from the program soon said that its optional. I'm not sure if the policy changed for new students though. 

 

If anyone gets any new information on this, it would be appreciated.

Anyone know if they’ve started taking people off Gateway’s waitlist yet?

no idea! I just emailed northwestern asking what number they’re at for waitlist but I’m not sure if they can tell me that.

I know that at capital, they haven’t called anyone from the waitlist yet. Maybe after June 11th since you need to be registered for classes by that date or in July if people don’t have their immunizations/physicals in

Hey Roco27! 

I’m wondering how you know they haven’t started calling off the waitlist yet. I’ve tried sending emails and calling India directly and get no response. I’ve been reaching out to her for an entire month now. I’m not sure if you can recommend any other explorees to call at Capital regarding the waitlist!

We had our Gateway orientation tonight, she said there were over 400 applicants and they've started calling people off the wait list to fill the 96 spots. A lot of people still didn't complete the background/toxicology paperwork yet so they may be calling off even more people soon.

Also, for anyone that's on the wait list preparing to be called off and start in the fall, be prepared to spend at least $500 for all the pre-semester testing and uniform/equipment requirements, on top of tuition, fees, and books.

Hey thanks for this info. So just to clarify they still need to fill 96 spots and that will be from the waitlist??

No, there are a total of 96 spots in the program, and some of the accepted students aren't meeting the pre-program requirements for fall semester during the allotted time period, so those students that don't meet the requirements are having their seats revoked and they will be calling more people off the waitlist.

There was a mandatory orientation webex meeting last night and there were suppose to be 96 of us and there definitely weren't 96 students present during roll call...

If you are accepted or get called off the waitlist...please complete everything that needs to be completed during the appropriate time window.
