Hi!
I'm curious to see if there are any other CT-CCNP applicants on here! After reading forum posts from 2020, it seems like the results were posted on April 9th or 10th. I hope we find out sooner than later!
Good luck to you all!
Hi! Very excited to say that after 5 years of applying this year I was accepted into northwestern’s program! I was number 3 on the wait list last year and sadly they only got up to the person right before me ?
After retaking some classes and my TEAS multiple times A&P 1: B+
GPA: 3.3
TEAS: 86

Congrats on getting in! They only took 2 people from waitlist last year?!?
Hello everyone, congrats to those who got in, and keep the faith to those on the waitlist.
I got accepted into NVCC
3.8 GPA
75 TEAS
A&P 1- A
I am currently thinking about applying to the ACE program that southern offers to people with a bachelors. I completed the preqs for 3 programs(UConn's CEIN, NVCC, And Southern's ACE program) last year after returning from deployment.
Do you guys think its worth the investment to apply for another program? or just be thankful that I'm already accepted in one. Thank you in advance for any advice.

If you’ve met the requirements, then why not apply and see what happens? You’ll have to get your BSN eventually regardless if you want to become/stay employed at a hospital (and many other facilities) in CT, and if you could jump right into doing that then you’d say yourself time and money in the end. Why are you having reservations about it? If you don’t get into their program, you have NVCC as a back-up.

Thanks for your advice, I agree. The only reservations I have is about leaving this program in the middle of it, when someone else could have taken my seat. I won't know if I got into the other program until next march, when I would have been in my second semester of this program.
It just feels a little bad since I see so many people waitlisted.
Also I would lose any money I spend on non-tuition material for this ADN program. Tuition is covered for vets.
Congratulations to everyone who was accepted, and to those who were waitlisted - don't give up hope!
I was accepted to CCC! I'm so excited to start on this journey! There's a facebook page for those attending CCC titled, "Capital Community College Nursing 2023" - please let me know if you have any trouble finding it! (I didn't make the group but we're looking for others who were accepted to Capital!)
My stats:
GPA: 3.6 or 3.7 (I don't remember the exact number)
TEAS: 80
A&P I: B
Chemistry: A-
I also took a couple of corequisite courses:
Psychology: A- and Sociology: A
I'm currently taking A&P II, and will be taking Micro over the Summer.

Hello everyone!
I was accepted to CCC!!
my stats since people are wondering,
I took all prereqs and coreqs as well. I only need the core nursing classes.
GPA 3.90
I have an A on every class except B+ for A&P 1 and A- in sociology.

Please don’t give up. Just retake some classes and do research on professors prior to signing up
