  1. Hi! I am considering WGCs informatics program.. how do you like it? Has it been difficult to find a perceptor? Thanks! I appreciate your time!
  2. @BrandonRussellWilliams The books are Pearson and come in a bundle. Technically you could buy them before however there’s so many and without the syllabus it’s too much. If I can suggest anything it would be a med calculation for nursing students.. a med review book for nurses and a basic fundamentals.
  3. I think you have great stats! I will be joining NCC this fall in the 3rd semester. When I applied my GPA was 3.5 with all of my pre-req’s done, TEAS was 78.9. I completed my bridge course in April/May. I chose NCC because I already had a Gen ED degree from them I had a great experience with teachers and advisors. So far my experience with the nursing Dept has been great as well. Also NCC has 88 seats.
  4. Congratulations to those accepted!! and to those who are waitlisted don’t be discouraged yet! I was waitlisted as well and was called about 2 weeks later. I also know some people who were called in June.. there’s still a chance! ?
  5. Unfortunately I do not. I’m sorry.
  6. Hey, I started it this week as well.
  7. Hi Everyone! So I am starting the LPN RN bridge course this month and I have to say I’m pretty nervous not knowing what I’m walking into.. ahhhh! I’m scared of failing.. which is NOT an option.. but just needed to vent somewhere/ to someone. Thanks, Priscilla
  8. Yea they are still bridging LPNs. NCC accepted 8. COVID wouldn’t affect it if they are doing the regular program there’s no difference we just don’t start till next fall.
  9. About a week for me.
  10. They will def contact you before school starts!!
  11. They wanted to know my previous nursing experience. They want the bridging LPN to have the appropriate amount of experience to skip the first year. I don’t know if they do interviews for non LPNs. I would be sure to check email at least 2/3x per week!
  12. Hi! I received an email saying I was accepted about 2 after the initial email came out on 4/10. I replied back inquiring if I was indeed accepted as the letter didn’t say I was being pulled of the waitlist. She replied back that she wanted to set up an interview to determine if I would be an appropriate fit to join the 3rd cohort. So the call I received was only for the interview. I received my contract and it said they needed it within 2 wks.
  13. When you submit your application with a pending A&P 2.. your GPA is based on what you submitted. You can’t add your current class.. well that’s what the NCC director informed me of when I asked about this last year.
  14. Unfortunately they did not give a date but stated they would be in contact with everyone when they we are able to register.
  15. NCC sent an email stating the registration deadlines were extended because of COVID.
