Has anyone seen this addendum on the nursing curriculum packet page 9 for the 2017-2018 school year? I'm really, really hoping they're not adding any more prerequisites because I'm chomping at the bit to leave my current career and another year would be so hard!

@xoCrash me too! I did notice that last year people were notified in march if they didn't meet the minimum requirements AND people who were wait-listed found out in March as well! So anxious- checking almost every day! I blame that on you lol

Lol yesterday was the first time I looked in at least a week; I've been super busy! This sounds crazy but at this point the biggest reason I want to know is because my boyfriend and family want to go to Disney in October and it's all depending on whether or not I get in the program 😂

St. Vincent's. I have several transcripts from different colleges. One of them is a 1.9 GPA. It needs to be a 2.0 before I can apply then a 2.75 before NUR101.

@Laur318, i'm doing the same thing! Sometimes even multiple times a day... we have less than a month! Most people found out by April 5th last year!!

@esrun326, my school of first choice is CCC, i wonder the same thing!

@FutureRN I took Microbiology at Western Connecticut last fall but had a hard teacher and got a C+...It brings down my GPA but its one less co-requisite I have to take if I'm admitted into the program. I don't think it matters either way if you have taken it but it certainly would look good had you taken it and gotten a B or higher.

Either way, i think it's great you have it finished and out of the way! I have to take it in the fall (accepted or not) which I am kind of nervous about.

I took micro (and a lot of my other courses) while living in FL. I actually have nothing but nursing classes to take.. all pre and co read are done. Just the transition summer course and two semesters of nursing if I get in at Naugatuck.

@FutureRN you should be just fine! As long as your teacher is decent and cares about you as a student you will be able to get a B or an A. It's a lot of memorization, just like A+P.

So over the weekend I was sent a letter that was ineligible for the nursing program for fall and I did not have all the requirements.. OMG..After crying my eyes:no: out I read he email fully and realized, The requirement in question was made in error and I just have to show proof. The letter said I did not sent my official transcripts from another college, Which I DID!! and i forward the email of confirmation. The told me to send an e-transcript and everything should be fine....:)I have never been so stressed in my life!!!!
