I'm applying to Capital Community College's program this November. I'm not too confident about my stats and I cannot find a winter AP I class to better my grade. Anyone else applying? Here are my stats...
Teas: 86.7
GPA: 3.27
AP1: B-

When the waitlist numbers came out I had anatomy 2 in progress and finished with an A-. So typically I would move up the waitlist and Im trying to get my new number but no answer. Anyone else in this situation?
The waitlist numbers are set. The grade that you received will not move you up. Because that would possibly displace everyone including accepted students. If you were to apply another time then it will be apart of your GPA. Students who were accepted conditionally only needed a C+ to pass the class and therefore keep their seats. There really should be more info available to students about the application process and how students are selected. Best of luck.
To anyone who has been called off of the waitlist, will they send an email to you as well? Or will you only receive a phone call? I'm hoping it's a phone call and an email- as my phone has been wonky about receiving phone calls.
I check my voicemail and email frequently. I'm thinking they would leave a voicemail.

This is the statement that the NVCC Admission contact had provided from one of the emails regarding the waitlist!
”We will keep the WL open until the start of the semester. At any point between May 8th and any time prior to the start of the program, we may reach out to you and offer you a spot in the program. If we do get to your name on the WL, we will attempt to call you as well as email you at your student email. “

There are 13 available seats left based on the course search. I don’t think I’ll make this one, but good luck to those that are waiting ♥️
Thank you for the updates !! Don't feel discouraged yet. As you said they accept students up until the start of the semester and I believe you said prior that your #26? I think you will definitely get in. I know nvcc takes a decent amount off the waitlist. Dont give up hope just yet !

Thank you! I wish the best of luck to you ♥️ It’s a matter of time, patience and constantly looking at my phone for a phone call or email ?

When you submit your application with a pending A&P 2.. your GPA is based on what you submitted. You can’t add your current class.. well that’s what the NCC director informed me of when I asked about this last year.
