I'm applying to Capital Community College's program this November. I'm not too confident about my stats and I cannot find a winter AP I class to better my grade. Anyone else applying? Here are my stats...
Teas: 86.7
GPA: 3.27
AP1: B-

I didn't study on my first attempt which lead to a grade of 77.3%. This time around I purchased the Mometrix TEAS including the actual study manual from the ATI TEAS website. I'm only going to give myself two weeks to study given that I'm currently in micro and psych. I hope to get around 85%. Good luck!

Teas: 78.7% (Retaking again to try for an 80)
Nursing GPA: 3.30
I retook a couple courses this summer to raise my gpa from a 3.0. I was waitlisted last year at Gateway pretty far down the list. I'm trying to figure out if I will have a better shot applying to Gateway or Capital this time.
Good luck! I may look into retaking courses if I don't get into this cycle. Do repeated courses replace the grade or average into the nursing GPA?

All the best! You should apply to both if that's possible.

Same here. I will retake some courses if I don't get in. Repeated courses replace your previous grade only if the current grade is better than the previous. They go by your best grade and your best grades are calculated into your nursing gpa.

Thanks! I retook the Teas and ended up with an 82%. I'm happy with that, but also questioning if I should retake it one more time, just on the off chance I can do better. As for applying to both, I think we can unfortunately only apply to one. ?

Nice! I was wondering the same, glad to know I’m not alone! Lol And thanks, I just took my TEAS for the first time yesterday and got - 73% I would like to take it again, I didn’t really prepare for it since I didn’t know what to expect.
