Hello,
I've seen similar threads for previous years applicants. It would be fun to get to know some of the other applicants and be able I share info and cheer each other on. I'll start,
i applied to NVCC and chose capital as my second choice school. I got an 84.7% on my TEAS V, an A in A&P1, and my nursing gpa is a 3.7(ish) I believe.
I am taking A&P2 this spring, and have to jam micro into the summer.. But I'm super excited!
I got wait listed at Gateway #12. I don't know how the system works though
May 1st is the deadline to accept or decline acception. Then there are other reasons someone who is accepted that can lose their seat from then to the beginning of fall semester like not having paperwork handed in on time..chances of that are probably very little lol or not passing A&P2 for the people taking it now. So I'm thinking anytime after May 1 they will begin at the beginning of the waitlist and work their way down? You are pretty high up there though so good luck!!!!
I am not familiar with the waitlist process though so I do not know exactly but I am guessing it's something along the lines of this. Has anybody been accepted after being waitlisted?
i'm not sure if the community colleges operate pretty much the same, but im #13 on the waitlist at ccc and my advisor told me that many times in the past they have called #13 from the waitlist. Overall though i'm hearing that the top 10-20 on the waitlist usually get called, so at #16 i think you have a really good chance!! my advisor said however that they dont start the waitlist calls till sometime in may....so that means more waiting!!! This whole process is so much waiting...its enough to drive you mad!!!I am waitlist #16 at GCC. Anyone have a general idea of how deep GCC may go into their waitlist? Im okay either way, Im continuing my Bachelors in another field and will re-apply next cycle if I luck out! Congrats to those who made it, and good luck to those waiting!! :)
