CSUSM ABSN Summer 2021

Anyone planning on applying to CSUSM's ABSN for Summer of 2021? I know it's early, but their priority deadline is Septmber 30th, 2020. I was hoping we could consolidate questions/info on this thread as we go along.

I have one more prereq to go (anatomy this Summer) before my app is complete. Where is everyone else at in the process?

Did any of your RWS classes satisfy the Critical Thinking pre-req? It says no course articulated in assist ?

If you're unsure, you could also email your counselor to ask about a specific course. I did that before I applied and they were able to get back to me. They just need the syllabus if you have it.

I just received my evaluation a few days ago, and my RWS 200 course was counted as my Critical Thinking pre-req! For everyone checking this forum every day like I am - my last transcript was received by CSUSM Oct. 3rd, and I got my evaluation on Oct. 30th! I’m assuming I’m one of the last ones to get an evaluation since there was an issue processing one of my transcripts. Hopefully we’ll hear back soon, I’m sure I’m not the only one checking my email 1000 times a day! ?

haha I'm right there with you! CSUSM did not receive my last transcript until 10/23 ? I'm hoping, since it looks like most people have received theirs already, that maybe it won't take as long to receive my evaluation. I heard during an information session that there are only two people reviewing the applications.

So I just emailed my counselor (Krysti) to see if she has an estimate on how much longer we need to wait before they begin letting us know who has been admitted. I'll let y'all know what I find out ?

So, those of you who were waiting for evals, did you get them back yet? The wait is driving me crazy LOL

I got excited by the all nurses email notification thinking you had gotten an acceptance communication from the school.
