I thought I would start a thread for CSUSM's ABSN Summer 2016 Nursing Program - for anyone who's taking pre-requisites, has applied to or is in the process of applying, and for support to those who become accepted (to connect with each other). I am from ABSN Cohort 19....good luck and let me know if you have any questions.

I definitely recommend doing them online if it's offered (and also if you can manage it), but if not, do them at a community college. Prices are much more reasonable. Good luck!

I emailed CSUSM today and they said I am accepted into fall 2016 cohort this morning! Still waiting for the official acceptance letter. I'm super excited and scared at the same time since I lived in the bay area my entire life. Moving to San Marcos will be a huge change for me. Anyone looking for roommates? Hey everyone! I've been reading through all the comments. I need some advice. I am completing my last prerequisite: communication class, and I will be able to update my transcript by the end of June. I will probably be around 28 points. Will they still be considering in July and August for fall admission?
