Has anyone applied for spring 2012 ABSN program at CSU San Marcos? I applied back in june and now that I have seen the average scores for the Fall 2011 program I am in a state of panic. Sure I meet the average for the other cohorts, but I am definately at the low end of the fall 2011.
I just wanted to know if anyone had applied for the spring 2012 ABSN program and how do you feel about your chances.
Hi all,
I'm super late to this thread but I've been admitted to the Spring 2012 Temecula cohort. I too (like amyca) was wondering how everyone's paying for the program. I'm freaking out over it since the FAQs say you shouldn't plan to work at all. :x I know there's fin aid, loans , etc.. but they mainly cover tuition not living expenses I think. Has anyone looked into any scholarships? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Congrats & good luck to all accepted or applying. :)
Hi All! I have been accepted to the Temecula campus for Spring 2012 and was wondering if anyone was interested in looking for places to live? I currently live in Pacific Beach- so if there's anyone in the SD area feel free to contact me!! I'm excited to get in, it's just that I wish they told me (us) a month earlier..
I know what you mean dzydjy. I think the cheapest would be to rent an apartment with a group of girls in the cohort. Unfortunately, I don't know anyone that applied :-( Either way, I am going to contact some of the people that are renting rooms in the area and go check it out. Hopefully I can find a good match. I'll let you know how it goes.
hi!! I am in the same boat as you! I wanted to send a PM.. but I'm new to allnurses.com, if you'd like to chat though send me an email to [email protected] :)
As far as paying for school. There is the medcap loan through wellsfargo (its a private loan, but better than nothing). There are litterely thousands of scholarships for healthcare and nursing. They are a pain, but necessary. The main things you will need is 2 letters of rec. (most professors are willing to help) and a auto biography for most of them. And there is always federal student loans. Good luck
how much will the program cost? I plan on applying for fall 2012.

It helped me plan my budget... Good luck to you!
I'm applying for Fall in Temecula. I would love to hear opinions, stories, or any feedback from people also applying or currently attending. Here is good or private: [email protected]
