Hi, Starting this for anyone applying to the FALL 2020 cohort at CSUSM. I think the deadline is March 11th. Good luck everyone!

Yep! I attended last weeks info session and they stated the new campus change for this upcoming cohort. It’s updated on the website now too.

Very confusing. The only reason I was applying for the Fall cohort is because it was in Temecula. I’m trying to confirm this with their admissions advisor.

Also from their website.

Just confirmed that the location for the Fall 2020 is San Marcos.

I also just confirmed over the phone that the San Marcos 2020 Cohort will be in San Marcos. Summer 2020 will be in Temecula. It became 100% official this week.

Will the campus location affect if you all accept your seat for the fall 2020?

I was accepted to the Summer 2020 cohort which is in Temecula. I can decline that acceptance and go back into the pool for Fall 2020 if I want to. I originally applied for Fall 2020

Congrats! I originally submitted my application in December, but had my last prerequisite to complete. I really was hoping to get into Temecula campus, little did I know they changed the location last minute. I guess I will have to postpone until next Summer since it’s a long commute to San Marcos. Let alone clinical sites. I guess the majority of applicants are happier with San Marcos option though.

Thanks for the confirmation guys! I currently live in LA. The San Marcos campus would be more ideal for me since they have on campus housing and many other cities near by to rent.

OK Interesting. I guess I prefer San Marcos. So did you guys all receive your points evaluation? I wonder if having it be in San Marcos will make this term point range more competitive. I'm still waiting for my transcripts to go through...

Yes, I received it on March 2nd. I have a total of 42 points

I received 37 points

Here is the direct phone number to the Extended Learning Office at CSUSM if you have any questions. 760-750-4020

The change of location has made things confusing for students.

Awe man San marcos is a long commute for me. I was hoping for Temecula. I wonder if they'll charge additional application fee for those who wanted to go to Temecula.

Those of you who got your point evals back when did you apply?
