Hi, Starting this for anyone applying to the FALL 2020 cohort at CSUSM. I think the deadline is March 11th. Good luck everyone!

following up on my previous post about me asking the program if we are being considered with other applicants from another cohort - finally got a response & they said that no we aren’t & decisions will be rolling out soon!

WOW! - that's great to hear! So they just responded and said we're NOT included with those who were originally applying for Spring 2021? and that decisions will be rolling out soon? I see Smiley247365 was accepted with the first wave - with 37 points! Anyone else? Super nervous! Anyone else sharing their points? Sitting on 31 points - and hoping for the best - since last 2 scheduled TEAS were cancelled... so can't raise those points asap as originally hoped for... Hoping we all hear great news soon!

yeah! they totally wiped out the people who applied for Spring 21 originally & just using the people who applied for fall 20.

I still haven’t gotten my evaluation back & turns out one of my transcripts is showing that it has arrived, I sent it before the deadline, but the transcript office still hasn’t linked it to my account. WTH guys???‍♀️

I listened to the virtual info session last week (for future applicants) and they said they'd be sending out acceptances in the next few weeks. However, I do think that's probably a general statement that allows for flexibility - especially with all of the unknown right now. I know we're all hoping to hear something soon!

I know many on this thread were still waiting for their evals and points a week or two ago. Curious if those waiting have heard back about their evals and points?

Also, the Cal State system just announced that most classes on all of their campuses will remain online for the fall!

"There also will be “limited exceptions” for courses across the 23-campus system that can’t be delivered virtually, such as essential lab courses and clinical classes for nursing students, White said. Those classes will have restrictions, such as social distancing and fewer students."

I don't know what that means for those applying now for the fall (or basically now the Spring)...

I received my evaluation form and the English course I had taken at my CSU did not qualify. (It covered the A2 & A3 requirement) Fortunately, I was already taking another English course for a different nursing program I am applying to. That English course is strictly labeled "Critical Think & Composition" and is accepted at CSUSM! Hope that helps ?
