Hi! I was wondering if anyone is applying for CSUSB's Fall 2021 admission? I have not seen a forum, yet. However, I wanted to make this forum, so we can share our stats and help each other out during the process. ?

They’re still in the process of sending admission notifs. Like the above comment said, you still have a chance! ☺️ I think they go by the CSU application submission timing!

Oh.. I did submit it pretty late.. Maybe that's the case! Thanks for the reassurance! I'll post an update when my portal updates. ?

Hey guys, 

I still have not heard from the university or the nursing program. I know a few people who already got accepted for pre-nursing or alternate major. I also applied back in November so I am not sure what is going on. Hopefully we get some news soon.

I still haven't heard anything either, I applied early November. I called and spoke to someone in admissions last week bc I was still showing they hadn't received one of my transcripts (was just an error) and she said they go thru applications in a random order, and there are still a whole lot left to be reviewed. She said they should have them all done by the end of the month and notifications sent by April 1st, and that they notify on a weekly basis. The order in which apps are reviewed has no bearing on acceptance.

Yep! Timing has no bearing on acceptance. However, I was unsure if the timing of the CSU app submission was correlated to the timing of notif of status (regardless if accepted or denied). I was going by what people have told me in the past; some people have gotten their notif earlier for this cohort, and it seemed to confirm the claim. (However, that’s not the case so I won’t say that anymore). Nonetheless, they will notify by April 1st! ☺️

I emailed them and they said there has been a delay so we will be notified if we are accepted into the nursing program by the END of March. Also do you guys know the deadline to pay the enrollment fee of $100? I don’t want to pay until I know I am accepted into the n it sing program. Right now it just says “pre-nursing” on my coyote portal

The $100, you need to pay by May first. You have time.

Really, we will be notified by the end of March? That's pretty good! Based on past forums, they seemingly sent out acceptances during May-June. I hope it's before decision day though! ?

Hi! So the pre-nursing program acceptance that was email was just admission to the campus and not the program yet, right?
