I wanted to create this forum so we could share stats, ask/answer questions, and talk about the admissions process. When I went to the past informational meeting they said the following stats were for the past year admittance:
Average overall GPA: 3.7
Average Pre-Req GPA: 3.53
Average Overall TEAS: 85.5%
300 qualify for application review and 45-50 are accepted
My stats are
Overall GPA: 3.843
Pre-Req GPA: 3.861 (assuming I end Bio 223 with an A which is what I have right now)
Anyone here have medical experience already? I know that academics is important to get through the program but when your in a clinical setting and with patients those numbers don’t matter. I guess people will find out when you get to the field. I’m a phlebotomist and medical assistant for 9 years. I wish that was considered. My “stats” are OK but not what I’ve seen on here.
Have you applied at other schools? I know that each school has their own set parameters on medical experience. For example with CSULA, they take it into consideration.

Any reason Why less people applied this semester? I’m hoping I have a good chance of getting in because of it.
A lot of students’ TEAS appointment got cancelled due to COVID and they weren’t able to reschedule it in time before the due date. I got so lucky. I took my TEAS the week before they closed the testing centers and cancelled appointments.
Hey all! New to this website but I have read all the comments to catch up. Just wondering how many of you did main campus vs palm desert campus. I applied for PDC and I’m so anxious! I keep checking my email every 5 seconds !! Best of luck to everyone I hope we hear great news soon!
