CSUS Spring 2011 hopeful

I am planning to apply for Sac State's BSN program for Spring 2011. I wanted to get some advice from those who have been accepted for Fall 2010 since the selection criteria has changed. What was your total points, GPA, TEAS scores (if you don't mind posting)? Were you an alternate before getting in? If so, what number were you?

Also, is Sac State accepting 2011 transfer students? I'm a current student, but I just wanted to know to see what my chances are in getting accepted. I'm so nervous & just doubting myself so much! I heard the current cut off point as of now is 58pts & they're on alternate #54! Any advice or feedback would be great. Thanks!

Lanakopp did you have to pay the $35 app fee?

Roxy, no i did not have to pay. Those who got their university application fee waived did not have to pay the nursing application fee. My univerity fee was waived, so i did not pay :))) Hopefully that answers your question.

Ok cool because I didn't have to pay for my app too since my university application was also waived. We didn't have to provide documents for that right? I'm just double checking, I think I'm getting too paranoid lol.

I also got the waiver and no other paperwork was needed in regards to the fee.

I was bummed that my high school transcript didn't get here in time to receive the language points... hopefully I don't get passed up by a point or two.

Everyone else checking email daily, driving themselves crazy? lol:idea:

HI ncaligrl! Thanks for responding! The wait is driving me crazy! I just really want to know if I'm in already. The website says we will know the results on or before Nov 30th. I hope we get in! I'm sooooooooo nervous.

Hey I know how you feel. I'm starting to wonder how much the first semester costs... What if you an't afford everything... Arggg is it Nov yet.

Maybe it won't take so long since someone said there were less applicants.

I called the nursing dept. a yesterday and they told me that the poing cut off will be slightly lower than last years, which was 56 pts!!! I'm so excited because i might just in!!!! Also, they said they might email the acceptance letter a little earlier than initially projected. Whohoo!!!

Thank you for the update lanakopp!!!!!!! Omg I'm getting more anxious now!!!!! Did they tell you if they're accepting 80 or 60? oh and do they have an estimate on when the emails will be sent out?
