Just got my rejection letter from the nursing dept. I'm super bummed I didn't get in. But congrats to those who got in! Hope you all have a great school year ahead! :)

If you don't mind me asking, how did they notify you?

oh no! I'm so sorry to hear that ): don't be too discouraged, you will get into another great program (: Does anybody know if this is it then for the ABSN program? Are the seats full now?

They sent me an email. I'm guessing that they just started sending out rejection letters today. I don't know if the cohorts are full though.

And thanks guys. Hopefully I get into a program eventually. :)

Hi everyone!

Just spoke with the Nursing Dept. and they said that they are still sending acceptances along with rejections. And they should be finished by the end of next week, and we should contact them if we don't get an email by then.

Sure no problem! I'm assuming by the 10th next week, latest Monday April 13th I'm guessing.

@Elizabeth Thanks for creating the fall cohort page! :) I tried searching for the group but couldn't find it.

Hi @charliebee, when I searched for it, I had to select "groups" under the search box. I did this on a desktop so I'm not sure if it's something you can do through the app.

Hello!

I got an email on April 1st notifying me of my acceptance to the A-BSN 2015 Summer Session (cohort 15)! I have accepted the offer and have been trying to research financial aid options. I was unable to make it to any information sessions and the only information I have is what is on the school website. I decided to call the financial aid office today about funding for the program and they notified me that only continuing CSUN students are eligible for Summer Session financial aid (through FAFSA). I was told that financial aid will be available starting Fall 2015 for new CSUN students. I also called to confirm this with the Nursing Department. I am a currently attending a community college and have a current FAFSA on-file. I had only checked the box for Fall 2015 entry and was surprised to have been offered a spot for the summer start, though I am very grateful for this opportunity. I am anxious to attend the orientation on April 14th to find out more information. Does anyone happen to have anymore information on the breakdown of fees for textbooks, uniforms, or supplies? I was able to get a breakdown of tuition costs and student fees for the summer session but I was hoping to have a better approximation of costs so I can get a private student loan in time to begin the program. May is coming up quick!
