Hello everyone,
Hopefully, this forum is found by people that are applying to CSULB for Spring 2021. We can share stats, updates, questions, and any other information related to the nursing program. I hope to talk to you all soon!

Yes! I'm all for that.

But yes! Hopefully we’re all accepted and we can make study groups and stuff, I’d love that!
Wasn't that just one person? That sounded weird...in looking as far back as Spring 2017 that has never been a thing. I still don't think it's a thing. ?

I’m pretty sure I saw 2 people in this thread that did the second interview! And I know it’s not something that’s been done before, which is odd and just makes me more nervous honestly ?

I wonder if it was a reinterview if they were waffling on pass/fail after the first one? That's the only thing I can think of. If they were amazed, they wouldn't need a second interview. ?♀️
Bottom line is I don't think it matters, we already have a ~75% chance of getting in. ?
...watch me say that and get rejected, LOL

Dude, same ? I feel like I did okay ish during my interview and writing assignment, and I had a decent amount of points (9.48 I believe, which would generally be enough to get me through based on previous years stats), But I don’t want to jinx myself and I don’t want to be like oh yeah, totally got in and then see a big fat rejection or waitlist message so ?

This. I think they only do re-interviews if they’re concerned somehow.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN everyone!!
@Opera2Nursing Yep, an hour ago and again just now. Terrible for the blood pressure. ?
Has anyone else's confidence in getting in taken a nosedive the closer it's gotten to the 3 week line? There's too much time to think!

Same...nothing yet. And YES! Over the past 3 weeks I've come up with the perfect answer to my question---like ughhh if only I could go back. Now everytime I think back to the interview I cringe at myself ?
Ugh I feel that, I did fine on responses but I panicked on my own question. ? At least it's pass/fail and I feel like you'd have to have the absolute worst answers or poor English to fail.
I've started thinking about them looking at the little differences between us to make their final decisions. I don't know if they just calculated the points and sent out invites automatically to those within that point area, and now it's about the little things? I have a bunch of W's on my transcripts from years ago and I'm starting to feel the weight of those
If you pass the comm exercise, you get 2 more points added to your score. From there, they accept 70-80 applicants with the highest scores and the rest are waitlisted/declined.
