CSULB Spring 2020

Hello everyone!

I couldn't find a thread for the upcoming spring admission, so I thought I should start one. Who is applying to CSULB this upcoming semester for spring 2020? I've finished all my pre-requisites. I just need to take TEAS which I am taking in early June. I would love to hear from other applicants and current CSULB nursing students.

Same!! If anyone’s down to hang Friday before the orientation I’m down! Flying in during the afternoon.

Hi,

I am on the alternate list and was wondering if anyone has been admitted from the list. They said at orientation that they would let us know this past week. I have not heard anything back as of today. Does anyone know if they have started admitting from the list?

That was my question too! I have not heard anything from SON neither... I emailed them twice this past week and did not get any response. I just hope that we will get something back this week. I hate this waiting game..

I emailed too. Hopefully they will respond next week. I have no idea how many alternates there are on the list or where I am on the list. Anyway, the waiting continues......

Does anyone know where and how we pay for our ATI kits? I can’t find it on the school’s website or bookstore.

If you still have the ppt from the email they sent us post-orientation, there was the link to castle branch where you buy the nursing tracker. Under the drop down for either semester and trimester, there should be the background check option to purchase!

My friend told me he was admitted off the waitlist on Friday, so I’m kinda guessing they’re admitting as more spots open?? I think you can be still be admitted up to when the semester starts!

Do we need to do the background check? I emailed ***** twice last week but haven’t heard back. I remember them saying something along the lines of it being done before we were accepted, but I could be wrong.

Thank you for sharing, but I’m floored that I never received any handouts. Is this code for trimester, semester or both? Was there any other documents given that day? I’m so confused as to when and where this was given!
