CSULB Spring 2020

Updated:   Published

Hello everyone!

I couldn't find a thread for the upcoming spring admission, so I thought I should start one. Who is applying to CSULB this upcoming semester for spring 2020? I've finished all my pre-requisites. I just need to take TEAS which I am taking in early June. I would love to hear from other applicants and current CSULB nursing students.

Hope to hear back from you all and good luck :)!

When I was offered admission on 11/1 they gave us 5 business days to submit official transcripts. Is that what you are asking about?

Yes!! Perfect!! Thank you!!?

We have to accept or decline our offer to the SON by November 26

Got it! Thank you!!?

I just declined my offer to SON, since I got into another nursing program! Hopefully someone from the alternate list will get in! Best of luck you guys!

We should create a FB group for Spring 2020 students!

Totally, I can’t believe we haven’t done that already.

Has anyone registered for SOAR? I am not sure since they said they'd provide additional info about the orientation in the acceptance email.

Ya I registered!

Anyone have an idea how long the alternate list is?

No idea ? Wish I knew because it kinda sucks going to orientation if you live far away and having zero idea if you're at the top or the bottom of the list. I hate feelings like I'm potentially wasting time and money.

Are you allowed to call in and ask what your position is on the waitlist? I don't remember if they've said you can call in or not, but I know past applicants were able to unless things have changed now. And I think their waitlist is about 20 people or so.

Hey,

If anyone else isn't already a local student and is going to move to LB in January before school starts and is looking for a potential roommate let me know!

I accepted my offer and am looking for places to live since I currently like in Santa Barbara.

Also did anyone make a Facebook group?

Looking forward to seeing everyone at orientation next week ?
