CSULB Spring 2012 BSN

Published

Hello everyone,

I'm applying for CSULB this Spring, transferring from Palomar College. Just finish all of the application today. Anyone else applies this Spring? Good luck to us all :yeah:

Fingers crossed for us both nbamus! :)

Does anybody know how long we have to wait for responses after the interviews have been completed?

i checked on the Fall 2012 thread and it said the 4th week of November

Hey Everyone,

Congrats to everyone who got an email for the interviews this coming week.

Hope everyone has a great interview, and I really hope its not going to be super hard to get in if your a transfer.

What were your stats and total points?

So I just called Monalisa. I was getting nervous because i didn't receive an email about setting up an interview. She said that ALL transfers should have gotten an email, but students from csulb have NOT gotten email invitations yet. So all csulb students, don't freak out. HEHE. :)

Maria4ever here are my stats:

science gpa: 3.23

ge gpa: 4.0

teas overall: 85.3%

teas math: 100%

my total is 8.93 points out of 10. I hope that is enough to get in :/

ChiJad927 can you please update us, as to when you get your interview.

Im getting pretty scared, because I was reading last semesters posts, and they only accepted 25 transfers out of the 90 when apparently its suppose to be the top 90 applicants regardless of being a csulb student or transfer student.

Specializes in Surgical/Trauma ICU.

I'm a transfer and I got my email yesterday (but read it just now!!) I'm gonna call tomorrow to set up an appointment :) I REALLY didn't think I would have made the interview but I did.

science ge: 3.0

general ge: 4.0

overall teas: 88.2 %

math teas: 100%

Wow feel so sad when knowing that ALL transfers got invited for interview, so what they stated in the FQA "highest scores will be invited for interview " doesn't mean anything then.

What are you talking about Ting?

Have you heard any updates regarding this issue? Is it an appropriate question to ask the nursing office about the ratio of csulb/transfers they will be accepting? I want to call but the last time I did, they said they couldn't answer any questions about applications.

pre-nusring-gal,

Call ----, dont call the nursing office. They wont answer u anything. Please update any information that u got here. Im a transfer too. Good luck to us all

She means that all the transfer applicants that were qualified enough to be interviewed, were contacted. Not that every single transfer applicant was contacted for an interview. If anything, transfers are going to have a harder time getting in because of the possible budget cuts.

Thanks cmd4, so are u transfer too?
