I disagree with you there Nung. Every time I have called for info they have been extremely helpful and nice to me. I am not sure of the current problem has to do with admission department or the nursing department. It appears that the nursing department have sent out acceptance letter, but it would be up to the admission department to follow up as to what the next step is in order to actually get accepted.

#1nrsstudent I agree with you on that one. I was almost one of those student since I have not order one of my transcript from a school of mine. Had I not checked on the my.csulb.edu website, I would have not known to do so because no one had informed me. Luckly I caught it in time. I hope no one will be affected.

^^ Is there reputation all that great? I have heard mixed opinions.

Anyway, maybe I had the misfortune of talking to them when they were having a bad day, but it is no excuse. We're the ones paying their bills, it is their job to be professional at all times.

From nurses that I know. I hear students are well prepared for bedside. They have one of the highest nclex pass rates. Better than ucla, uc irvine, csun, san Diego state...and the list goes on. As far as undergrad programs. Csula, Csulb, sac state, csu channel islands, are sitting at the top. Nclex and hearsay are the only ways to really rate these bsn programs.

Good point, I read that for the last 3 years the nclex passing rate is 100%. So that is pretty damn good.

Nung, you are clearly upset that you were not able to get into the program. But, this forum is not for you to vent your frustrations and talk poorly of the school or future students.

lol NaCl, I actually did get in. However, I have not yet accepted the offer because I am still weighing my options. Good try making completely baseless assumptions about me though.

Did anyone get any information about the orientation that we're supposed to attend? Are they supposed to email us about it?

Also, when is everyone's spring 2014 class registration date? Mine is on November 19th at 10 AM. But I'm not sure if we're supposed to meet up with advisors before we register for classes.

Hi penguinwaddle, I do not have a registration date yet, it's probably because I have not submitted my official transcript yet. How were you able to get the registration date already, or did it just appear on your my.csulb.edu website? Nov. 19th, damn that is already coming up.

and yeah still no word on the orientation.

Hi Nung, Did you really get an acceptance letter? my score is similar to yours and I may not be too far from you on the alt list. Just wanted to know where I stand right now.

yeah Dattmann I did. Apparently I miscalculated the score which I posted earlier and according to them I am at 9.03. Come say hi to me at the orientation NaCl, I am a 6'4" blasian guy so I won't be too hard for you too find. *kisses* lol

Tnguyen1925, I received an email from Enrollment Services on October 21st telling me the registration date & time. Don't worry, I'm sure you'll get an email as well later on! I think I got mine earlier because I'm not a transfer student.

Nung, have you heard anything about the orientation yet? I should probably just call them and ask but like you, I also have not had a very pleasant experience with the staff so I'm a bit hesitant :/
