Sunbelt Staffing school nurse?
Does anyone (especially new grad RN's) have any experience as a school nurse working for the agency "Sunbelt Staffing"? My questions: -How is the agency? Would you recommend? -Do they provide good training/orientation? -How is the pay? -Do they take in new graduate BSN RN's without any experience?

Does anyone know if the cover letter & letter of intent have to begin with "Attention Sr. Talent Acquisition Consultant"? Or can I just start my cover letter with "To Whom It May Concern"?

Are we supposed to turn in the contingency contract at the nursing building?

CSULB Nursing - Spring 2014
Tnguyen1925, you did everything correctly (I asked one of the staff about it just to be sure). As for the date, she said "If it is too late to get the 11/26 date, don’t worry. Please just get the one the date that is next available."

We're supposed to turn in the contingency contract to the nursing office, correct? Also, in the contract, it says "Completion of health compliance tracker documents by set deadlines. Your annual documents must be completed by 11-16-13..." Is this true? I still haven't finished all of my annual documents o_o CF17, thank you for recommending pro-CPR! I just sent them an email to sign up for a class.

Tnguyen1925, I received an email from Enrollment Services on October 21st telling me the registration date & time. Don't worry, I'm sure you'll get an email as well later on! I think I got mine earlier because I'm not a transfer student. Nung, have you heard anything about the orientation yet? I should probably just call them and ask but like you, I also have not had a very pleasant experience with the staff so I'm a bit hesitant :/

Did anyone get any information about the orientation that we're supposed to attend? Are they supposed to email us about it? Also, when is everyone's spring 2014 class registration date? Mine is on November 19th at 10 AM. But I'm not sure if we're supposed to meet up with advisors before we register for classes.

Oh gosh the wait is killing me as well! I'm scared that I might've made a mistake on my application..I know I didn't because I checked over it a bunch of times. Heck, I even did rough drafts of my nursing application (I'm a super paranoid person). But still..I can't shake off the feeling that maybe, just maybe, I did something wrong. I guess the thing that's bothering me is that I didn't put down in the application that I took pharmacology during the summer because I didn't transfer the units to CSULB yet and it would take a while for the credit to get transferred (and the nursing app deadline was approaching fast). I also couldn't get a transcript from the community college that I took pharmacology on time before the application deadline. But I think it should be alright as long as I send my transfer credit later on, right? @NaCl-ty: I'm hoping to get into the 2 year trimester program! I want to be done as soon as possible, and I don't mind giving up my summers to take classes. Also, I took pharamacology class during the summer and am currently taking pathophysiology.

Thanks, Tnguyen1925. I visited the enrollment office and they were able to give me my transcript right away. Phew! Did you just staple your transcript with your nursing application and turn it in the nursing office? Unfortunately, I don't live in the Long Beach area so I can't tell you much about it. But in my opinion, I don't think Long Beach is that bad. I've only heard that North Long Beach is kind of "ghetto"...I'm sorry I can't be of much help :/
