CSULB Nursing Program Fall 2023

Hi everyone! I wanted to start this thread to compare our stats since the deadline to send in the supplemental application is approaching soon. CSULB's program is definitely competitive and I hope I have a chance to get in with my scores!

My stats:

4.0 GE GPA

4.0 Science GPA

92.7% Composite TEAS score

82.1% Reading TEAS score

My whole college period has just been GE prerequisites so I'm not sure.

Do you happen to know what the lowest impaction that got accepted for your cohort ?

I think 9.3 was the threshold, but Spring is less competitive than Fall so I think for y'all it should be around like a 9.4. I would also check previous Csulb fall BSN forums to see what their lowest scores that were accepted were.

My whole college period has just been GE prerequisites so I'm not sure.

It's based on GE prerequisites, not cumulative GPA

did you guys apply to any ADN programs? there's one near me that still has applications open through tomorrow if you're panicking, haha

Yes, but some of my documents were not accepted from the ADN program so I will reapply for their Spring cohort if I don't land a spot somewhere. Where is the program you are referring to?

Goldenwest college in HB. they just changed their points system so no one knows what to expect LOL, but they do reserve 10 spots for a lottery of qualified applicants, so there's always a chance

Interesting... im still holding on to hope I will get into LB tho since it is my top choice
