Hi everyone! I wanted to start this thread to compare our stats since the deadline to send in the supplemental application is approaching soon. CSULB's program is definitely competitive and I hope I have a chance to get in with my scores!

My stats:

4.0 GE GPA

92.7% Composite TEAS score

82.1% Reading TEAS score

Best of luck to everyone applying!! We got this!

for all the people in the earlier time slots, how did it go? how was the interview portion? would love to hear what kind of questions you got, if you're comfortable sharing. I'm scheduled for 3pm!

It was pretty straight forward. Watch a quick video then answer two prompts about what the video said and one about how this could apply to school and work life as a nurse. Questions were along the lines of why did you chose nursing, what makes a good nurse, how do you deal with pressure, what's an accomplishment you're most proud of, why long beach and I forget the others but generally straight forward and easy to answer. I got why long beach and was like uhh

Oh wow, so it's just like the last cycles session. How much time did you have to write your responses?

Ps. I'm sure you did awesome!

10 minutes and 5 minute video. Yeah I just had to think for a second cause realistically I'm like long beach cause it's cheap and close and literally the only school who has gotten back to me. But I came up with something I think was okay

My advice is to smile and breathe and just be happy to be there cause you really have worked so hard to get there. It's not as daunting as our brains have made it up to be and you'll feel really good once it's over

If anyone listened and remembers please let me know when we're supposed to hear decisions.

Anyone know how many people are invited to interview vs. how many are actually selected for the program?

Good luck to us all ?

I believe they invite about 120 to the interview. They select 80 for the program- 50 trimester, 30 semester.

Good luck to all of us! This is gonna be a long wait through March!

For my cohort we were told it would be 3-4 weeks before we found out but we actually found out in about 2 weeks, so keep checking your email everyday!

That would be ideal! This waiting game kills me.

For the record my stats are:

4.0 Sci GPA

4.0 GE GPA

93.3 TEAS composite

92.3 reading

9.71 impaction score

You should be good! I got in with a 9.7 as well!

is the GE GPA based of the GE prerequisites or cumulative GPA from the whole college period
