Nursing Students School Programs
Published Oct 1, 2020
Hi everyone! As CSU applications open up, I wanted to start a thread for all of my fellow pre-nursing students looking to transfer to CSULB!

I applied for the RN-BSN program and received the Fall 2021 RN-to-BSN Questionnaire from Nancy Espinosa yesterday.
Seems like they're starting to move things along and decisions are estimated to be released around April?

Wait so does that mean there’s not going to be a communication exercise?

Oh really. Did they change the date for making the decision? Usually it's around mid Feb, right?

I think they're really backed up due to COVID. In the email that I received it said that the questionnaire is due by March 12. It will probably take them a couple of weeks after that to sort through the questionnaire submissions.

I don't think there is a communication exercise for RN-BSN applicants. Only for the ABSN and regular BSN cohort.

I was wondering for just the regular BSN cohort

Not yet. But I did receive an email from admissions yesterday saying they forwarded my application to the intended program for final review.

I didn't too, but I checked the status of my application a couple of days ago and it said that “Your application has been forwarded to your intended CSULB academic department for their review.” Didn’t say final review tho and not them emailing me on their own.
