Hello. I wanted to create this forum for people who are applying to Cal State Long Beach for Fall 2020. This is a place where we can compare and discuss statistics between us, as well as ask questions regarding the program.

Will any of you be moving to LB? Are you guys thinking of dorming or finding an apartment? ? If anyone needs a roomate (females only), I'd be happy to look with you!

I have a feeling that the email is going to be delayed, since SON has to think about how orientation is gonna go due to social distancing orders. I don't think they're going to tell you your spot on the waitlist, but it doesn't hurt to ask!

I've been dorming at LB for 2 years and I'm planning to dorm again if I get into the program! Not sure if I'm going to get into housing next semester though, since space is really limited. At this point, I'd say it's a little late to sign up for dorming, since applications opened on April 1st.

I am considering on dorming as well but haven't completed the application yet. I still have to hear back from other schools I applied to so at this point it looks like I would have to find an apartment if I go to Long Beach. Still waiting on an official email from the school of nursing. I have been checking my email multiple times a day. ?

I’m thinking of finding a place off campus since I’ve heard it’s cheaper. However I have no idea where to look LOL.
Anybody have any tips what areas are best?

I’ve been living off campus!! I would definitely suggest looking for apartments near the Traffic Circle. If you would like to be near the school shuttle, there’s Park Ave and Beverly Plaza apartments which are closest to the shuttle stop.

Thank you very much! Great tips ? I’ll look into it. I’ll probably start looking for places around June/July. So I’ll definitely keep that in mind.

Hey everyone! I was wondering if anyone have any information on whether they will move forward with classes in the Fall or whether it will be online? I’m kind of in the dark here.
