Hello. I wanted to create this forum for people who are applying to Cal State Long Beach for Fall 2020. This is a place where we can compare and discuss statistics between us, as well as ask questions regarding the program.

I think a lot of us are wondering what’s gonna happen. I haven’t heard anything for Fall. I do know that Summer is going to be online and they’re gonna conduct SOAR online as well based what it says on their website but as for Fall Semester I guess we will find out soon, hopefully.

Hi, I’m with you on this one too. It has been exactly 4 weeks since the interview and I’m starting to get nervous, however maybe it’s just taking them longer to figure out how they’re going to set up orientation and everything. It just sucks being in the dark for longer than we thought we would
@bellissima2600 @Brianna Rinon Have you both tried checking your application status on the self service portal? I still haven’t received an email either. I just did an application status check today and it had finally updated, but I wouldn’t have known if I didn’t go sign in to check.

Mine hasn’t updated yet sadly ? it only shows my admission from when I was a freshman
@bellissima2600 @Brianna Rinon I'm with you guys as well! I wish current CSULB students could find out as early as the transfer students. At least we know that we're that they're making progress, since second degree transfers just got accepted! CONGRATS @britt4444!
I got an email from the admission office that I was not offered admission on Thursday late morning. I was a second bachelor's candidate.
Do not feel bad for me. I got accepted and committed to Johns Hopkins' direct entry MSN program. Like those who have been accepted at CSULB SON, I'm still moving forward to becoming a nurse.

CONGRATS on Johns Hopkins!
Thanks. It was an unexpected opportunity. The funny part, I figured if I was going to into any direct entry MSN program, it would be the most expensive I applied to, which it was. It looks like I will have a lot of opportunities there, so I'm excited.
For those who do not get in here, do not be discouraged. It only means you have a different opportunity ahead of you.
Just received an email from SON stating they need admission decisions by 17 APR. I was under the impression we would have till May 1st to make our decision. Nonetheless, I understand the logic because they do need adequate time to notify alternate candidates. Good luck to everyone on the waitlist!
