Hey everyone!
I know its a bit early but time flies fast and I pretty nervous so I'm sure other people are too. Is anyone applying to CSULB this upcoming semester for fall 2019? Just wanted to make this so we can talk about goals, nerves, points, and ask questions! Also, if there are any current or past CSULB nursing students...any advice? Hope to hear from u guys!

I’m wondering the same thing! I have a 9.42 and have not received a communications email. I wonder if there is another factor in the ranking that isn’t apparent to us.
For those of you that aren't sure which nursing program you want to go to, I was wondering what kind of factors are you taking into consideration to figure out which one you want to go to? So far all I've looked at has been the the NCLEX pass rate for the programs, the layout of classes you need to take every semester, how long the program takes, and my personal liking of the schools campus. I feel like there should be more things to think about so please let me know what you guys are taking into consideration, thanks!

Hey!
I also have looked at the NCLEX pass rate, the program length, the classes, and the campus. Something I also have been really putting into consideration is how far from home the schools are. I personally live in the valley, so going to LB would mean I would have to move out and the expenses are going yo be rough. But depending on all the other factors, it can make moving out 100% worth it! If I get into LB, moving out is definitely worth it!!!

Yeah I'll be moving out regardless of where I go, but yeah that's a factor for me too. It's the only reason why I'm even thinking about going to SF since I'm from the bay area and its closer to home
Hello! I applied to the Spring 2019 and I did communication exercise. I waited to receive either acceptance or denial mail from them, but I did not receive any email until I sent an email asking for my status of admission. They said I did not pass the communication exercise. I asked them if I could know the reason how I failed it,but they didn't gave me any explanation. I applied to Fall 2019 again and now I didn't even receive invitation email for the communication exercise this time. Do you think I'm just not qualified for it?
My score was
Science: 4.00
GE GPA: 1.941
TEAS total: 1.8
TEAS Reading: 1.872
total score was 9.613

What was the communication exercise like? Also, what did you wear there? Mine is next week and I am slightly nervous!

It was really simple. I just had to talk and do some exercise with the professors in charge of the session I was in. it was so simple that I got really shocked to not get any response until I contacted them. I just wore simple white shirt and black pants.

I wonder how they are choosing the people to send invites for the communication exercise. I have a higher score than some of the people that have been sent the invitation and I still haven't gotten anything.
