I think the CSULB School of nursing recently post new pool statistics including those who were chosen for Fall 2011.

Knowing that the rating average is 8.91/10, that seems like a huge difference than the previous semesters!

Anyone else planning to apply to CSULB Fall 2012 BSN program?

So the pre req to patho is that biomedical class and for pharm it's a&p correct?

Do you mean online at SBCC? I'm pretty sure the prereq for both patho and pharm is the same class, it's that biomedical class called "form and function" haha... aka anatomy and physio? not sure why they don't just call it that. I'm kicking myself for not applying to sbcc earlier... my registration isn't until june, so i'm pretty sure i have no chance of getting either of those classes. Luckily the nutrition i took as a prereq for SF state counts.

I'm really nervous you guys! I mean, I'm excited, but nervous too. I'll be moving all the way across the state. =/

Hey everyone!

This may be a little off topic but...

I really need help deciding on which nursing program to go to. Do any of you know any info on what state schools have the best nursing programs in CA, or where I can find that info? I've been researching online but there is no websites that rank the CSU programs. Also, does anyone know what the recent NCLEX rates are for Long Beach?

I only have a few days to decide, and need all the info I can get to help me make my decision.

@ella.moore When did you apply to SBCC? I applied over the weekend and haven't gotten a registration date yet. For Pasadena City College my registration appt. is on June 4 at 930 AM but I doubt I'll get into the online nutrition class, it only has 25 seats -_- What was the name of the nutrition you took for SFSU's?

If anyone finds out anymore colleges that offer ONLINE pharm/patho/nutrition please post! I know a lot of us want to get at least one class done in the summer ..

Spiff: I applied last week, my registration is june 7. Did you get a few emails from SBCC saying they got your app? There should be one where they tell you how to login to your account. Then once you login there is a link for finding out your registration info. When I applied there were tons of seats, now they are all mostly full. GRR!

At SFSU I took DFM 253, Nutrition in Health and Disease. I just called the SON at LB and they said it was the right class. I really wanted to do pharm over the summer... but I'm not very optimistic that it will happen.

Oh gosh. I think my application is still processing. Sigh, I'm so bummed that LBCC isn't offering nutrition online in the summer! Youre lucky you got that out of the way!

Does anyone know if Coastline Community College's FN C170 - Nutrition is accepted by CSULB? I see it's being offered this summer ONLINE AND there's room for 110 students!! I've been trying to get ahold of SON but no luck today.

She replied saying I needed to send her the syllabus so I had to email the instructor of the course and I'm waiting for a reply. so much trouble!

today I emailed SBCC my transcripts showing that I've taken Anatomy & Phsyio and registered for the school as well. It says my registration date was April 27th. I'm assuming this is because I was already in the system that this CC uses for their applications. So i can register as soon as they give me my prereq credit, but the classes are filling up super fast!
