Hi!

I think the CSULB School of nursing recently post new pool statistics including those who were chosen for Fall 2011.

Knowing that the rating average is 8.91/10, that seems like a huge difference than the previous semesters! :eek:

Anyone else planning to apply to CSULB Fall 2012 BSN program?

Mine says "Complete."

My registration appointment time is May 14th. But an orientation is on June 8th.

I wonder if I can pick any class before the orientation.

When I was reading previous thread, it looks like school chose our schedule.

mine says "complete" too. Maybe you can check if there is any hold.

thanks! yeah turns out i do have a hold. it says "prevent all enrollment actions" satisfactory completion of the terms of your admission offer must be verified prior to enrollment. :/

Yeah, they choose our classes for us, but you can always register for non-nursing classes (such as capstones) on your registration date.

I was accepted too. I had 9.64/10 points.

@CluelessNursingGuy Can you believe we finally made it? Been a loooong wait since micro xD Congratsss. & Congrats to everyone else!! How many capstones have you taken? And when do you register? I register on Thursday and don't know if I should even register for everything because that would take away seats from other students. But if something goes wrong I guess it's good to have a backup?

I was just looking over the beginning of the thread when we were both freaking out about our grades for micro, HAHA! Look at us now. It feels so long ago, but in reality, it really has it been. Congrats!

I've only taken 2 capstones. I need 1 more. I think I'll just register for the ones I'm interested in and then drop them according to what fits my schedule since we won't know our nursing class schedules until after the orientation. You're done with all your GEs, right?

Yeah I've taken 3 capstones. Hoping to get nutrition and pharmacology done online in the summer to lessen my load even more!

For all people who need to complete capstones, the following classes have the reputation of being EASY and are taught by GREAT professors:

CLCS 300I - PAGAN CULTURE

CWL 320I - COMIC SPIRIT

DANC 373I - NONVERB COMM INTERAC

H SC 425I - HUMAN SEXUALITY

MUS 468I - MUSIC AND FILM

REC 340I - LEISURE CONTEMPORARY SOCIETY

This site won't let me name drop so if you want names of professor pm me. I honestly think that if you can take one of these capstones in the first semester of nursing, you should because they are easy enough and won't add drastically to your workload.
