Really? Sweet! I thought it was two lol

It ends up being two if you start in the spring. But I'm so glad we only have to go one. Lol makes trimester worth doing.

How much do you guys think the first semester will cost? Or does anyone know? Idk how much to take out but I was told that first semester is usually really expensive.

Of course because you have to purchase nursing equipments and stuff. Aftrer that semester, its not like you have to buy a stethoscope all over again. There is a program estimate on the nursing page but it's for the entire program. As for the first semester alone, I really don't know. It's already about 3k+ for tuition and I'm assuming you will need to spend less than 1k for textbook + equipments. but that's just my guess.

When I received my financial aid summary, the screenshot above is what the overall costs are with housing/living expenses included.

Hi, have you already received your financial aid for the fall 2016 school year? And does it cover the entire term costs that was included in that picture?

I haven't any financial information from csulb yet. I'm assuming it's because I need to activate my account first?

Yeah, why haven't you activated it yet? Haha. I'm In-State and I'm commuting so I'm receiving a little over 5k for the semester so that covers my tuition of 3k something. I will be getting my disbursement of 2.5k for books and supplies.

I'm assuming that you haven't received your financial aid offer yet because you haven't created your account. I forgot whether you are a post-bac or not, but I think we (post-bac) may just receive our financial aid earlier in general because we are ineligible for grants etc. I was offered 14,000 in loans for the first year, going to accept maybe half and use savings for the rest (I live for free as an apartment manager in LB 10 minutes away from campus, so I'm pretty lucky in regards to housing). If you are eligible for Pell Grants and Cal Grants and this is your first degree, you should end up paying little to no tuition for your BSN.

Haha I'm still waiting on UCLA AND UCI decisions before I do anything BUT I actually just received an email from CSULB financial aid office to send in some documents LOL.

Anyways thanks got the heads up! Yea hopefully I can try and save as much money as I can.

Yea I'm going to end up activating it today to get the financial aid forms I need to turn in haha. But nice! Looks like you'll be saving a lot of money for your BSN!
