I was going to but everybody will be split amongst trimester and semester and groups as well. I figured it wouldn't be such a great idea until we know where we belong

That's true. I guess we will wait to do that until after orientation :)

To all ALTERNATES: Has anyone received an email from the university's admission department regarding sending in transcripts in order to confirm your position on the wait list for Fall 2016 admissions?

Just to clarify. My registration date for next semester is supposed to be this Friday, but what I am getting from some of these posts is that we won't be signing up for classes until orientation. Is that true? Or am I just confused?

yeah that's correct. They'll be sending us our assigned schedules like a week or 2 after the orientation. We have to pick if we want trimester or semester so they can't make us our schedules until after that is done.

Haha, this was asked previously but I'll say it again. I'm going for trimester and hopefully *cross fingers* I get what I want. That's the only reason I chose CSULB over CSULA.

Is trimester Fall-Winter-Spring-Summer-Fall-Spring OR Fall-Spring-Summer x 2 ?

Trimester will be fall Spring summer fall spring. It's only 5 semesters long. So we'll only have to be in school one summer.
