Ah I see. Thank you! So I'm assuming we have to complete all of our vaccines, titers, and everything BEFORE orientation?

I feel stuck right now because I want to start signing up for orientation, apply for housing, and do everything I need to do for the CSULB nursing program because I like to stay on top of things. HOWEVER, I'm still waiting for the UC's admission decisions before I can really start anything yet for CSULB. That's why I'm worried that the SOAR date for July 25th will fill up before I can sign up for the orientation date :nailbiting:

So if you read instructions on one of the documents, the only thing you do is order a background check BEFORE orientation. Titers, vaccines, CPR, etc. is due on July 16th (after orientation). You do not have to "sign up" for orientation BUT you do have to accept your admission and turn in your transcripts to the admission office within 30 days of your acceptance email from the University. This registration fee is $150 unless it is waived by the university (mine was). You can sign up for the 25th for SOAR without having to pay the $62 fee until a week before the SOAR orientation.

Yes me too!

Yes me too!

Welp. I accepted the admission offer (mine too was waived) and scheduled my SOAR date for July 25th! It looks like I have to pay the fee within 7 days of signing up so I'll wait until Sunday, April 18th incase the UC's get back to me this week ;)

Wait, didn't it say 7 days before SOAR ?

No, it said 7 days "within signing up for SOAR" or else my reservation will be canceled.

Just as a clarification for everyone, you guys should start your titers and all of the medical requirements prior to the orientation. They take a while to complete if you guys aren't already vaccinated for everything. And on one of the documents it says that you should bring all of the hard copies of the requirement that you have done to orientation. The date of July 16th is the deadline to have everything uploaded onto the online health tracker. We just can't order the health tracker yet because we haven't been split up into semester/trimester. The orientation I had attended in the past had us do that too and they checked our forms there at the orientation if we wanted to know that they were done correctly.

Thanks for the tip! I was going to get started on those health documents anyways :) Just to be all ready and set.
