Hey everyone so I have been waiting for a couple of years to finally have all of the pre-reqs done to be able to apply to nursing school. I am finally finished and am just waiting for CSULB-elmsn's program which will start in Fall 2011. I want to know who else is planning on applying so we can have each other to go through the process with and I'm not going to lie I would really like to see what the competition is like. Goodluck to everyone. I look forward to meeting you in the fall!
I am pretty sure you need to submit 2 sets of transcripts one needs to be sent prior to Nov 30th and one needs to be sent prior to April 2nd. It just needs to be post marked before Nov 30th so as long as you send it out Tuesday or before you should be fine. Below is the address that the transcripts need to be mailed to?

That is fantastic thank you! If I can think of any more questions I will be sure to ask. Please let us know if you can think of anything else that would help us before we enter school. My score is 9.3 I am hoping that is enough to get me in. My grades were average but like you I did really well on the TEAS. I have noticed that every year it gets a little harder to get accepted into the program. I guess we will just have to wait and see. Oh actually one more thing I was planning on taking pharm and pathopharm at Golden west next semester do you think this is a good idea or should I just wait till fall and take it at Long Beach?
If you can take them ahead of time, it's good. That way, you'll just end up taking Fundamentals during fall and have nice long breaks. The 3 classes you can take beforehand are: nutrition, pharm and pathophysio.

Hmm I must have misunderstood the info on the website. Sorry about that! On the FAQ section, there was the question where to send transcripts, and the answer was to send one to enrollment services and one can be attached to the nursing app. thanks for clarifying though.
So the one that needs to be sent prior to Nov 30th is sent to enrollment services... where does the transcript need to be sent that is due April 2?
K so probably should have checked before I posted but the address is actually exactly the same on the application as the one I posted previously. So I have no idea! :) I am assuming that they get sent to the same address.
Oh awesome! Let us know what she says! :)
P.S. I am ready to start nursing school
