CSULB BSN Fall 2018

Hi all! I wanted to start a thread for folks who are applying to CSULB starting Fall 2018. I would love to hear other applicants!

I have also been put on the waitlist for CSULB. Does anyone know if acceptances are still being sent out? And if you are on the alternate list, do they tell you what number you are?

Did you also get into the university or did you get put on the waitlist? I used the self service and was told I was on the waitlist to the university and I think it's because I haven't completed 90 quarter/60 semester units yet... I'm so anxious!

No I got conditional admission, and I haven't completed 60 either but they will be finished by the end of spring!

Oh great, now I gotta go all the way down to socal again for the orientation on june 15 and the SOAR on july 17th... AAAHHHHHH!!!

i will have completed at least 90 quarter units by the end of spring too, but the way that the supplemental application asked about my next classes only included winter quarter and not spring so according to that i would only have like 75 quarter units... but at the end of winter quarter. if that makes sense lol. i hope when i send my transcripts that will clear things up!

they also requested my AP scores but i already sent them. this is kinda frustrating

did anyone get an email from the school of nursing or university informing them that they are on the waitlist? i just think its weird that i wasn't notified at all, from SON or the university

I was placed on the waitlist. I called multiple times to find out my spot on the waitlist, no one will pick up. It's rude on their part to not inform us, and we have to ask for a status report from the school. I'm more then likely going to University of Arizona now instead.

have you been calling the SON or the university?

The SON and the school, the school picked up but can't tell me since they don't know.

I haven't heard anything yet. When I checked the self-service admissions status report, it says it's still under review. It's not very fair that some people have been given notice and others are on hold :( I just want an answer either way so I can stop stressing about it!

hey guys, so i called enrollment services and they said that if you were waitlisted to the university then you're waitlisted to the SON. but i didn't believe her haha so i called monalisa and she said that if you got waitlisted but haven't heard from the school of nursing yet, that means you're waitlisted to the university, not the SON. she said that the school can't admit you until they get the ok from i thought it was obvious but i just wanted confirmation lol.

according to my csulb friends, they admitted the top 30 students but they're still deciding on the other 50 to admit right now
