CSULB BSN Fall 2018

Published

Hi all! I wanted to start a thread for folks who are applying to CSULB starting Fall 2018. I would love to hear other applicants!

I thought it wasn't bad at all! Good luck to the people who are still have their exercises.

LOL I wrote so little compared to everyone. Like 4 sentences... Good luck everyone

Hope everyone felt good during the exercise. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. The panel I was with said we would hear in 2-3 weeks, anyone else hear the same from their interviews?

It was super easy! I thought the communication exercise was fun. However I was told we would hear within 3-4 weeks

I thought the exercises were pretty easy. but I kinda just squeezed out some bull**** answers for those questions they asked at the end. I wonder if those were even graded? and I was told 2-3 weeks.

Well, I am an English learner so it was a bit challenging for me. I was so pressured when seeing most of the candidates were native English speaker. But I tried my best so now keep my finger crossed. My interviewers said we will hear from them in 3-4 weeks but I hope it will be sooner. Each waiting day is killing me.

Any other Vets get an email from the csulb veterans office? Just got one today.

Yeah I got one of them motherf*****s. hopefully the admission decisions come out before the 9th.

Yeah! Got one yesterday too.

hi! i'm a second year pre-nursing student at CSULB and i just had a question for those that are from CSULB starting their freshman year that applied to CSULB and other schools... which other schools did you apply to? i'm just confused on what schools would take credit for the courses I took at CSULB that would apply to their nursing programs. thank you!!

Go to assist.org and look up the equivalent courses. As long as you take some form of anatomy, physiology, microbiology, chemistry(with organic component), english 1, english 2, public speaking, and statistics, they should all be transferable. but because a lot of the CSUs have impacted programs, you are going to have to take lifespan(human development), sociology, psychology, and nutrition in addition to the above. but yeah, those are the main 8 prerequisites and main 4 corequisites.

For those of you who are already students at CSULB, what are you guys doing about registering for classes? Registration is right around the corner for me and I don't know what to do just in case I don't get in...
