CSULB BSN Fall 2018

Hi all! I wanted to start a thread for folks who are applying to CSULB starting Fall 2018. I would love to hear other applicants!

I scheduled for 11am Group B! Is anyone else interviewing at this time?

Hello. Is it difficult to find parking at the hours we have the interviews? What do you think is the best thing to do? Arrive super ealry to find parking, or is there a parking lot with plenty of available spaces. Thank you.

It shouldn't be very sifficult for you guys to find parking. If you are not a current CSULB student, park in the short term parking spaces and pay for two hour parking ($8) those spaces are on the left side of th parking lot if you're coming from Bellflower and making a right onto beach. Pay at the machines located by the short term parking spots. I would still recommend that you come early though to find parking and have time to ask current students any questions you may have!

Hey everyone! Sorry I am a bit confused so if someone could help i'd be so appreciative!

I applied to CSULB and the nursing program but I still haven't heard back from the school itself. I don't have a CSULB account bc it's only for current or newly admitted students. I can only check the status of my application through the website which forwards it to my email. However, it doesn't give me any new info regarding my application status. Everyone on this forum keeps mentioning they received an email and I'm a little confused. Did you guys get acceptance into the school first?

Hey guys!

So fortunate I found this thread! I was also invited for the interview and got the email on March 13. I'm scheduled at 1:00pm Group A.

How do you guys calculate your overall points because I can't seem to find the point scale?

- 4.0 prereq science

- 4.0 general prereq

- 89.3% TEAS

- 85.1% TEAS reading

And is this a good amount of points?

@klow7 Hello! I haven't got accepted into the school yet but I did receive an email from -------------------- about the communication exercise. I think you should call the school to see if you have made it to the second round because some people did not receive the email.

Your science GPA is out of 4 points (so like 3.75 out of 4 or like that), GE/prereq GPA gets divided by 2 (2 points), divide both of the individual and reading TEAS scores by 50 and they're each 2 points, and add another point if you were in the military
