CSULA Fall 2015 Nursing Applicants (BSN BASIC)

email? I actually just called university admissions and they said they're waiting on the finalized list of people who are in the program from the nursing office. So I'm guessing after today (since it's the deadline to accept), transfers will be hearing from the university

Yeah, my GET still says incomplete and it still won't let me online to pay the deposit! Frustrating but I'll be patient. Only since we still have a couple weeks before it's due.

Does anyone have any idea about clinicals / when we start those? I assume it's a bunch of random hospitals... I'm just curious and excited!

I am a transfer and I got admission to the university about 2 weeks ago. I faxed in my acceptance on Sunday but my status on my GET portal hasn't changed yet.

It's so hard to be patient! I want to get everything finalized so I can stop worrying about it heh

I'm curious about the clinicals too! There are so many distinguished hospitals in the LA area :laugh: it's hard for transfers since we can't really get in touch with the current nursing students to ask them questions

Nothing still... My application still says incomplete. Getting a little nervous because we only have until May 1st to pay the deposit. If I don't hear anything by next week, I'm going to have to go to admissions in person and see if I can pay that way.

Yes, when I try to log in, it says the ID number is invalid. I am guessing because the university hasn't admitted me yet.

I received an email from admissions more than a week ago. My status on GET changed to admitted before I received the email. And I just made my deposit!! :)

Yeah I still haven't received anything from admissions and still can't log in to pay the deposit. I will call next week I guess. I can't drive a four hour round trip to hand them cash lol so they need to figure it out!

I called today she said emails should be going out tomorrow and if not early next week

Congrats to everyone! I sort of need help calculating my points though. Can someone explain to me the point system. Prereq GPA are the 4 sciences only right? Or does it include English, speech, stats, & etc. ? I plan on applying the next time applications open. :)
