Csula Fall 2014 applicants..

Published

I posted this in the California forum, but I think it got lost so I'm posting it here!

Who here is applying for the CSULA nursing program for Fall 2014? What are your stats? Have you taken the TEAS exam yet? I'm excited!

I have not taken the TEAS yet, but have my date scheduled for Oct. 25th.

I also applied but my score is much lower :( I have either 17 or 18 points. I need to recalculate my GPA. Does anyone know what the cutoff was last year?

Cut off is 21. So 21 still has a chance to be waitlisted then accepted.

Yeah the lowest I seen in past threads was 21 as well

Doesn't the cut score depend on how many people apply and qualify for admission?

Yes. But, it also depends on who accepts and declines their admission to the program. Most people who have had 25 points and above get accepted right away. People from 21-24 points have been waitlisted and then accepted a couple of weeks after.

I bet you're also getting impatient with the wait and all. ugh. this is so frustrating  haha!

I am curious. Is everyone on this discussion board already in the Los Angeles area?

I'm in LA as well...

Me too. 15 minutes away from the campus

If y'all are from the LA area, could you recommend some cities/places to live close to the CSULA campus that are bullet/bug free? :)

Not sure, if bullet/bug free but try alhambra or san gabriel valley? I go to CSULA, but I commute

lol Beverly Hills!!!!

Honestly, you will run into this no matter where you go... Don't set your standards to high, especially since you'll be wiping poop and vomitus and sputum your first year.
