It may be a bit early, but I wanted to create this forum for all of us students who want to be accepted into CSULA's SON for Fall 2019. We can discuss the TEAS, pre-reqs, deadlines, points, CSU transfer procedures, etc. Let's do this!

Yes. It is a mandatory orientation for all the students. The office hasn't sent out the info to the current csula students. I think they're sending it out later.

Oh ok thank you! I called Ms. Yvette Richardson and she said that they will be sending out emails to us about orientation in the first week of June.

Did anybody receive an email saying they are still missing some of your documents even though you turned everything in? I turned my transcripts in two weeks before the deadline but it still hasn't cleared off my to do list. I received an email today saying they "extended" my deadline to turn in the documents even though I already turned everything in with plenty of time

Did not receive an email like that but the to-do list should’ve updated within approx. a week after you turned in the docs. I would definitely call them to make sure. If you sent an electronic transcript, shoot them an email of the receipt. (Sometimes it takes time for orgs to send your requested e-transcript to the uni. So, I’d request again asap even before calling the admissions to confirm).

If it was via mail, tell them to recheck their files. That’s what I did bc they must’ve lost/misplaced one of my docs then eventually found it.

hi all! I found this forum and hopefully other people can find this lol. I got accepted to CSULA’s BSN program this fall and wanted to see if I could get to know you guys who got accepted as well! (-: I’m so excited !!

Have you called the admissions office to make sure they received it? Maybe they didn’t even receive it or they did get it, but haven’t processed it yet. When I called to make sure they got my transcripts, they cleared out my to-do list within 2 days.

Yes I did today and was a little frustrated with the answer they gave me. I had turned in my transcripts in person to make sure they got them which they did but when I called today the lady I talked to informed me that they did receive them but they did not update my to do list or forgot to. She said she would leave a "note" on my application to let them now that I wasn't missing them and that my application was good to go. But I may still get a withdrawal notice because they never updated my to do list. And if that does happen I have to call them back and fix the withdrawal. I don't really get why she couldn't just update my to do list instead of just leaving a note with the chance of withdrawal because then I'll have to call and fix that and that'll be a whole mess.

Hey everyone! I just received an email from the SON about all the fees and to send an email to accept their offer. Just thought I’d let you guys know in case anyone hasn’t checked their email yet.
