CSUF ABSN Fall 2021

Hi all! 
I just wanted to create this forum for students who are applying to CSUF Fall 2021 for the ABSN program in case we had questions for each other, wanted to share thoughts, stats and to support each other through this journey.

Sure, sorry for delay but here's the key points:

- Starting next week, CSU student email accounts will be used for communication.

- If any classes are in-progress, grades will be needed ASAP

-  Orientation is on the 23rd of June.

- Registration for classes & clinical items will come sometime in June

No problem! I wasn’t going to have access to today and wanted to make sure it wasn’t time sensitive! I appreciate the heads up about the email and the overview.

Yeah I read this a bit ago. I'm fully vaccinated now and expect to need a few others updated for clinical clearance. Not sure what sort of timeline the FDA approval will be on. I've seen the COVID vaccine requirement listed on a number of other universities as well. Makes sense with the large circulating student population.

Did anyone receive an update to their Titan Degree Audit report? I'm curious because I was taking a look at mine and noticed that I have a few requirements that are "not satisfied"/"still need to be taken" but I fulfilled all GE's at my first undergrad institution.

Don’t worry about this! It doesn’t apply to us. We just got an email from our advisor. ?

Hey! Unfortunately no. Still on the alternate list, but we have until the end of this month. All we can do is really hope that someone decides to change their mind last second.

We should be hearing about financial aid in the upcoming info emails & orientation. When I asked about financial aid, Michelle said it'd come up soon. I'm planning on loans myself, but I'm anxious to be sure the FinAid office has everything.
