CSUF ABSN 2018 applicants

Hi everyone! I just submitted my application to the CSUF ABSN program. I wanted to start a thread for anyone else who has also applied. Based on past years threads for this program, they invite people for interviews in February. Curious to see how many points everyone applied with. Best of luck!

Hi everyone! I started this thread last year and I’m so happy to see that some of you were accepted. I was chosen for an interview this year and was wondering if anyone has any tips for me! I would be so appreciative as I am nervous of course. Thank you!

It's a group interview with you and about 5 professors, just prepare why you want to be a nurse and all that. They are big into questions about ethics and advocacy. They make you do math also in part 2, simple conversions. I can't remember what it was, something with a nutrition label. Good luck!

Like ECLS mentioned they are big on ethics and advocacy. My feeling from last years interview is they want someone with a nice and empathetic personality. My advice would mainly be to demonstrate that and smile. If you enjoy it, they will too.

Does anyone in this program currently use an IPad to take notes for classes? I am debating if I should invest in one for this program since I will be starting this fall! Thank you in advance ?
